Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset my password?
If you signed up with email, tap "Forgot Password" on the login screen. You'll receive a password reset link by email. If you signed in with Google or Apple, your password is managed by that provider.
How do I change my target language?
Go to Settings in the app and select a new target language. Your progress for each language is tracked separately.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your app store:
- Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Tamem → Cancel
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Tamem → Cancel
You'll retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the app or by following the instructions on our Account Deletion page.
The app is crashing or not working properly
Please try the following:
- Make sure you have the latest version of Tamem from your app store
- Restart the app
- Check your internet connection
- If the issue persists, email us at [email protected] with your device model, OS version, and a description of the problem
How does the CEFR placement work?
When you first start learning a language, Tamem runs a short AI-powered assessment (~15 minutes) to estimate your current CEFR level (A1 through C2). This ensures content is neither too easy nor too hard. You can retake the placement at any time from Settings.
